Contribute
Contributions to my campaign are eligible for the the State Contribution Refund Program. Which means that if you contribute $50 (or $100 per married couple) you will receive the money back in a few weeks from the State of Minnesota in the form of check.
Since 1992 the State of Minnesota has encouraged people to run for public office by providing a refund for contributions to State campaigns. The money for this program comes from tax payers checking the box on their tax returns saying that they wish to donate to the public subsidy campaign fund.
The program is very simple:
- Make a contribution and I will send you a special receipt.
- Fill out the PCR form (which I will send you) and mail it in with your receipt.
- In a few weeks you will get a check from the State of Minnesota for up to $50 per person or $100 per couple.
Here is more information from the State Website – http://www.cfboard.state.mn.us/publicsubsidy/conrefund.htm
Contribution limits for 2009 are $100 per person
